Zayed National Museum

Zayed National Museum, designed by Foster + Partners on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, is a tribute to UAE founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and is recognised for its five soaring steel towers inspired by falcon wings. CIG engineered and fabricated the wing edge profiles as fully 3D-formed, double-curved steel skin plates, using dedicated templates at our factory in Groningen to shape, verify, and pre-assemble each plate with full geometric control before shipment. The completed elements were then transported to Dubai for final assembly and finishing at Eversendai’s facilities, supporting the delivery of this unique cultural landmark.
