Mirror Mirror is a monumental stainless steel sculpture by Norwegian artist Eirik Jahnsen. Though static in form, the work is constantly transformed by its surroundings, reflecting changing light, weather, and the movement of people throughout the day. Its fluid, folded geometry evokes crumpled paper or draped fabric, creating ever-changing distorted reflections across its mirrored surface. As Jahnsen's largest sculpture to date, the project marked a significant milestone in the artist's evolving practice.

CIG collaborated closely with Jahnsen to engineer and realise the sculpture at its facility in Groningen. Using advanced large-scale forming technology, the team shaped each stainless steel panel into a complex, double-curved, free-form geometry and developed a bespoke internal structural system to support the sculpture while maintaining its seamless appearance. To achieve the flawless mirrored finish, each panel was pre-polished before cutting and forming, ensuring a consistent, high-quality surface across the entire work.
