Porsche Pavilion

The Porsche Pavilion at Autostadt in Wolfsburg was designed by HENN as a dedicated exhibition space for the Porsche brand. Its flowing, sculptural form draws inspiration from automotive design, translating the sense of movement, precision, and performance associated with Porsche into architecture.

The pavilion is characterized by a continuously curving exterior that sweeps upward from the surrounding landscape, creating a seamless transition between the building and its setting. Large areas of glazing open the interior to its surroundings, while the exhibition space presents the history and development of the Porsche brand.

CIG played an extensive role in the realization of the pavilion, providing design assistance and structural engineering to translate the architectural concept into a buildable structure. Our involvement continued through production and pre-assembly, allowing the complex curved components to be prepared and checked before delivery.

CIG was also responsible for installation, bringing together the engineered and prefabricated elements on site to realize the pavilion's distinctive flowing form.
