Second Net Puffed Star is a monumental aluminium sculpture by the late American artist Frank Stella, created as a second version of his earlier Net Puffed Star. The work measures approximately 5.46 metres in height, width, and depth, forming an intricate three-dimensional composition from a dense network of curved aluminium tubes.

As part of a longstanding collaboration that saw CIG contribute to several of Stella's large-scale works, CIG was responsible for the structural engineering, production, and pre-assembly of Second Net Puffed Star. The production process included developing the assembly documentation and templates, preparing and forming the aluminium tubes, and producing the connections required to bring the complex structure together.

The sculpture was fully pre-assembled at CIG's facility in the Netherlands, allowing the completed work to be inspected and receive final approval from Frank Stella before handover. The aluminium structure was finished by sandblasting, giving the assembled sculpture its final surface treatment.
