This striking installation marks Zaha Hadid Architects’ first billboard design, commissioned by JCDecaux. CIG brought the vision to life by realizing its fluid, curved forms in stainless steel. Located in the heart of London, the piece merges public art, contemporary design, and digital media into a bold urban statement. In addition to delivering the stainless steel assemblies, CIG played a key role in the engineering of this landmark.
Arnhem Central Transfer Terminal features a flowing design and a roof that spans up to 60 meters without a single column—demanding a rethink of traditional construction. CIG replaced the original all-concrete concept with a lighter steel solution, shaping the structure with shipbuilding techniques.
We provided design assistance, structural engineering, material selection, production, pre-assembly, and on-site installation, delivering a fluid space that sets a precedent for transport hubs.
